2. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the Shalomly website, mobile application, waitlist and early access signups, authenticated account features, your daily practice and personalization settings, support interactions, and account deletion requests. If you use another Harpyx product, that product may have its own privacy terms or separate notices.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Shalomly, we may collect:

• Information you provide directly, such as your email address when you join the waitlist or request early access, and your name, account credentials, support messages, and account deletion request details if you contact us or create an account.
• Practice and personalization data, such as the middot you are working on, your reminder and daily rhythm settings, whether you prefer to read or listen, saved or favorited passages, and related in-app preferences.
• Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser or device type, app and server logs, timestamps, referrer data, and basic diagnostic information needed to operate and secure Shalomly.

If third-party sign-in is enabled for your version of Shalomly, we may also receive limited account details from identity providers such as Apple or Google.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

• operate, maintain, and secure Shalomly and its infrastructure;
• create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and support account recovery or deletion;
• personalize your daily practice, including blessings, Tehilim, the weekly Torah portion, and Mussar content, based on your choices and preferences;
• send you launch updates, early access invitations, and transactional or service-related emails;
• respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited website activity and technical data with advertising and measurement partners to understand campaign performance and help introduce Shalomly to people who may be interested in it.

5. Legal Bases (EEA and UK Users)

Where applicable, we process personal information based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing Shalomly, performing our contract with you when you create or use an account, your consent where required for optional tracking technologies, and compliance with legal obligations.

6. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

The Shalomly website uses essential technologies needed for basic site operation and form handling. With your permission, we also use optional advertising and measurement technologies, including Google Ads and the Meta Pixel, to understand website activity, measure campaign performance, and support our marketing efforts.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser and is not shared with us as an account record. These technologies may collect information such as IP address, browser or device details, page views, referrer information, and actions taken on the website, and may allow our partners to associate this activity with your browser or device.

The Shalomly app may store session, preference, or security information locally on your device so the service can function correctly. You can revisit your optional tracking choices at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer.

7. How We Share Information

We share information only with service providers and partners that help us operate and promote Shalomly, such as hosting, infrastructure, storage, email delivery, form handling, authentication, spam prevention, customer support, and advertising or measurement providers. Based on the current Shalomly stack, this may include:

• Amazon Web Services, for website hosting, storage, and content delivery.
• FormSubmit, which processes waitlist signups, early access requests, and app feedback and forwards them to us by email. See formsubmit.co/privacy.
• Google and Meta, for advertising measurement and related marketing services, only where you have given consent. See policies.google.com/privacy and facebook.com/privacy/policy.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or other business transfer.

8. Data Retention

Account and practice data are retained while your Shalomly account remains active and for a limited period afterward where necessary for security, legal compliance, backup integrity, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our terms. Waitlist and early access signups are retained until you ask us to remove them or until the signup is no longer relevant. Account deletion request records, security logs, and system diagnostics may be kept for a limited period to verify requests, prevent abuse, and maintain service integrity.

9. International Transfers

Shalomly services and providers may process data outside your country. When this happens, we apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the transfer and the nature of the personal information involved.

10. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to data portability where applicable.

You may request deletion of your Shalomly account and its associated data by contacting contact@harpyx.com. If an in-app or web-based account deletion flow is available in your version of Shalomly, you may use that option as well. You can also ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time using the same address.

On the website, you can revisit your optional tracking choices at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. California residents may have additional rights to know, delete, or correct certain personal information, subject to applicable law.

11. Children's Privacy

Shalomly is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Shalomly, legal requirements, or our data practices. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here with a revised effective date.
